COMENTARIOS

Liderados por el bajito vocalista Udo Dirkschneider, Accept es una de las bandas "míticas" del heavy metal, uno de los grandes grupos de referencia del panorama metálico a principios de los 80 y probablemente, temas suyos como "Fast as a shark" sirvieron de influecia a grupos como Helloween para fundar la escuela del Speed metal.

Empezaron tocando en festivales locales a mediados de los 70 hasta que consiguieron una oferta para grabar su disco homónimo "Accept" con un sonido muy setentero y con el que se darían a conocer. Después entran en su época dorada grabando "I'm a rebel" (con el que definitivamente se hacen un hueco en el panorama internacional), "Breaker", "Restless and wild", "Balls to the wall" y "Metal heart". A partir de esa época sufren bastantes altibajos, tanto a nivel de formación (con Udo muy dedicado a su proyecto en solitario) como a nivel musical, todo esto llevó a la separación definitiva de la banda en el año 1997 con un concierto multitudinario en Tokyo.

Más adelante, y como muchas otras bandas, se reunió su formación clásica para hacer una gira conmemorativa en el año 2005.

Para el recuerdo nos quedan grandes discazos como "Restless and wild" o "Metal heart" o temas como "Princess of the dawn", "Metal heart", "Restless and wild", "Balls to the wall", "Midnight highway", "I'm a rebel", etc., que hoy en día son himnos dentro del mundo del metal.
